Plumtree Baby’s Lamaze Parent Guidebook Wins Gold at Fall 2025 Digital Health Awards

Nov 17, 2025

Plumtree Baby was honored with a Gold Award for books in the Fall 2025 edition of the Digital Health Awards®, presented by the Health Information Resource Center (HIRC). The award recognizes excellence in digital health resources and was presented to Plumtree Baby for its parent guidebook, “Navigating Pregnancy & Birth,” published in partnership with Lamaze International.  This recognition highlights Plumtree Baby’s leadership in developing health-focused solutions for health professionals, educators and families navigating pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.

The award-winning Lamaze Guidebook is a versatile resource featuring interactive content that enhances learning, supports informed decision-making, and encourages healthy choices for parents. The Guidebook can be purchased in bulk for use in health or education settings or individually for parents to reference throughout their pregnancy.

"We were delighted to participate in the Fall 2025 Digital Health Awards competition, and were honored that our guidebook received a Gold Award,” said Julie Olson, founder and president of Plumtree Baby. “Being selected as a Gold winner from nearly 500 entries by a panel of experts is incredibly meaningful. This recognition motivates us to continue creating high-quality resources that support families, educators, and public-health partners.”

In the spring of 2025, Lamaze and Plumtree Baby teamed up to provide enhanced teaching tools for Lamaze educators and the families they support. This exciting collaboration brings together Lamaze’s evidence-based philosophy—including the Six Healthy Birth Practices—and Plumtree Baby’s modern, educator-tested materials. Three resources are available in this new collection: the award-winning Parent Guidebook, an instructor PowerPoint, and an instructor curriculum.

“This award is such a proud moment for Lamaze,” said Robin Shadle, Executive Director of Lamaze. “Plumtree Baby captured the heart of our mission with a resource that truly meets the needs of today’s families and educators. We’re thrilled to see this resource recognized with a Gold Award.”
