Founder

Julie Olson is the driving force behind Plumtree Baby, a resource for childbirth education. A Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and Fellow of the Academy of Certified Childbirth Educators, she brings a Master’s-level science background and over 25 years of experience in education, research and writing to her work. Passionate about empowering families, Julie strives to support healthy pregnancies and gentle, fulfilling birth experiences.

In 2011, she founded Plumtree Baby with talented team, recognizing the need for innovative, comprehensive and adaptable teaching tools for birth and medical professionals. More than a decade later, she continues to expand Plumtree Baby’s reach with purpose.
